Hi, I’m Laura Alstro

I recently made a personal decision: I changed my last name.

I chose a name inspired by one of my favorite flowers: the alstroemeria. It is a symbol of friendship and success, two qualities I care deeply about and hope to be known.

This change is a meaningful act of authorship over my own story. It represents the values I want to cultivate and be recognized for: strong relationships, thoughtful ambition, and shared success.

Names carry stories. For most of my life, mine reflected where I came from. Now, it reflects where I’m going and what I am choosing.
